Our Mission
Hummingbirds’ Collaborative School is an alternative community devoted to using whole child development methods in a holistic approach to education. As passionate Educators, we emphasize sensory integration and a growth mindset to stimulate the imagination, develop fine and gross motor skills, and executive functioning. We provide an exceptional educational experience that meets the needs of each child in a developmentally appropriate manner, integrating critical thinking, emotional intelligence, and the Arts based on a hands-on approach curriculum.

Our Philosophy
Hummingbirds’ Collaborative School combines foundational aspects of whole child development within a curriculum that meets the needs of today’s children. We incorporate a multi-sensory approach to every aspect of the curriculum. Within the curriculum, the teacher navigates the subject to support three styles of learning – visual, auditory, and kinesthetics. These techniques engage and develop the whole brain, and help develop the daily, weekly, and yearly rhythm of life as a student.
About Our Programs
Preschool - 8th Grade
Our school grows with our students! Hummingbirds’ Collaborative first began with a preschool class. Those preschoolers are now in 4th Grade. Every year we add a new grade level to meet the needs of current and new enrollment students. Enrollment is OPEN for Preschool – 5th grade!
Grades
Our Summer Camps
3 years - 12 years old
Sign up for summer fun as we celebrate our sunny days with outdoor water play, hikes in nature, craft making and cooking together. We offer movement games and songs, daily storytelling and puppet shows, and picnic lunches in the shade of our leafy trees.

How to Apply
The Hummingbirds’ Collaborative School is now offering site tours. Sign up for a tour here. We offer four and five day programs for preschool. The kindergarten program is a five day program. Preschool through 4th grade includes extended hours and aftercare. Full day hours are from 7:30-5:00 pm. See our tuition rates. The Hummingbirds’ Collaborative School provides a 15% discount for full time siblings.
